Great White Teeth!

We all wish we had whiter teeth, do we not? I always say that I have British teeth. Thanks to Tetracycline as a child (yes, the stuff they put in aquariums they used to give to sick kids), I will never have glistening white horse teeth that I want (think "Niki Taylor"), unless I pay $1,000 a tooth, per my dentist who wants me to get them every time I see her. Fortunately, I don't go that often. Oh ... that could also be why I have British teeth. But, I digress ... The point is ... I have an answer!

You must have in your desk the credit card sized package of Go Smile Flashlites, available only online from sephora.com. Each little ampule has its own little spongey applicator tip. You remove the plastic cover and you crack the product in the ampule between your thumb and forefinger. This activates the whitener. Then you squeeze the tube to get the product on the applicator tip and brush it on your teeth. I have found this is my personal savior for client meetings, lunches, dinners and parties when you really need to brighten your smile quickly. They quickly erase any iced tea, coffee, Coke or other stains. You can see it happen! Also, my teeth are ultra-sensitive and, while the product doesn't taste all that great, it doesn't hurt. There is only enough in each capsule for the teeth within your smile range, top and bottom. It's plenty and it's all you need. At $10, these little saviors are just $1 each and totally worth it. I put it on Your Daily Sample Must Have list.

Another whitening product that you must have (thanks Mom!) is Arm and Hammer's Teeth Whitening Booster. It's about $5 and lasts about the amount of time it takes you to go through a small tube of toothpaste. If your teeth are already white, it actually makes them look shiny. I love it! You put a strip of this gel on top of your normal toothpaste every time you brush. Trust me, the difference is amazing. Again ... NO PAIN! I'm all for that. I mean, I can take the hair pain of tugging, teasing, burning, pulling, tightening, twisting, etc. I can take the face pain of peeling, scrubbing, pore-cleansing, exfoliating, etc. I can take the manicure pain of scraping, sloughing, picking, etc. I cannot take the pain of anything hurting my teeth. And I can take this.

Lastly, while I have not yet personally tried it, the claim of Clinique Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick is that the shades are clinically proven to make teeth look at least one shade lighter. The claim was confirmed using a dental color guide. There are 12 shades to choose from - reds, violets, pinks and nudes. Check them out on Sephora or watch the video on Clinique.com.
