The End of Natura Bisse Because It Made My Hands Look Fat!

I was very traumatized by my peel. I don't think I would do it again. Maybe in a few years. I'll try one that doesn't have so much Glycolic acid in it, but I can still conjure up the sting if I think about it. I'm kind of afraid to try my deluxe Amore sample from Sephora. But I committed to Guinea Pig status with the products so I'm not going to shy away from everything.

I'm pretty much over everything Natura Bisse. It's such a pricey product that I can't believe it doesn't feel better nor does it smell better. The eye cream isn't twice as much better as the Chanel, which is what it costs. This morning, I had some nose redness so I tried Natura Bisse Red Diffuse which is supposed to heal the broken capillaries, not just cover them up. Well, it did neither, despite it's major green color. Just basic primer from Smashbox in green did the trick better. It just goes to show you that, sometimes, things aren't worth the money people pay for them.

Let's discuss nails for a minute. I obviously have no solution for how to grow nails more quickly, nor to keep them from splitting and bending while recovering from acrylic removal, despite my trials of every product know to woman. I do know, however, that most top coat quick dry products or sprays are never as good as they claim. Until today! I discovered Sephora by O.P.I. Nail Colour Drying Drops. The bottle is really tiny for $14, but darn if it doesn't work. I have a tendency to rush the nail drying process, which makes my personal manicure look crappy by the following morning. In particular, I tend to do my nails before bed and, even though I think they are dry, a few end up with sheet imprints in the morning. These little drying drops really do work. I'd say you could wash your hands in 5 minutes without concern for smudges. I'm glad I gave this product a shot. It's definitely going to be a time saver. It lives up to its promise: "Dry to the touch in 1 minute; completely dry in 5."

Staying on the hand theme, but going back to Natura Bisse, I tried their Tensolift Hand Cream. This cream has cosmetic fillers, such as hyaluronic acid and its formula is supposed to diminish and soften the appearance of dark spots. It also helps plump, regenerate and protect the skin. By using this product, I figured it out ... I think this product line is for more aged skin. It did plump up my hands, but I don't yet have that many wrinkles - so it ended up making my hands look fat! I can see how it would be beneficial in a few years. I still don't think I will like the smell though - ever. These samples are going to mom and back to eBay!

A lovely product I tried this evening was Chanel Precision Foaming Mousse Cleanser. It smelled lovely and was a gentle cleanser. Not sure it's worth $45 because it doesn't feel that much better than less expensive products. Nice, for sure, but not a must have.

I haven't had a lot of time this weekend, but I'm going to try to take the effort to read some of my new beauty magazines. There are sooooo many products I want to try! My Lucky Mag is full of "Yes" stickers!
